Julia Brouwers

This young Dutch woman from just outside Amsterdam went viral on Linked_In while I was travelling through Europe.  She posted a story about her life as a competitive swimmer with goals to swim for Holland’s Olympic team.  At the age of 14 she was paralyzed from the waist down without knowing her diagnosis.  An invincible disease, she has faced adversity.  From volunteering in Guana to becoming the motivational speaker that she is today, I made it my mission to reach out and support her personal brand development.  A powerful story with beauty and grace that is as honest and transparent in her images.  Julia and I captured her day in Zanvoort beach town about an hour outside Amsterdam to help tell her story ‘From Athlete to Wheelchair’.
